VOLVO EMULATOR
Steering lock emulator for Volvo, models C30 - S40 - C70 - V50.
Plug & play - no programming required.
Instructions:
- Remove the key from the ignition.
- The jumper on the emulator board must be shorted (configuration mode). The line connected to LIN (green wire) between SCL and CEM (SCL pn 4), and please use the OBD connector (pn 16s +12V and pn 4/5s GND) to power the emulator (red and black) .
- CAUTION: Do not use the SCL power lines because they are managed through CEM (they only work when SCL is locked or unlocked).
- Now the LED is red. Plug in the key - if everything is OK, the green LED should flash and all the necessary data has already been received and saved.
- Disconnect the Emulator from the OBD socket (+ red / - black), remove the solder connection from the jumper (working mode).
- Remove the original SCL from the socket and plug the emulator in its place.
